GUIDE

How to use MileMori

Everything in MileMori, in two minutes. The app is a map of your lifetime: you place what matters onto a real road, and it helps you keep walking toward it.

1 · Your route

Pick two real places and MileMori maps your lifetime onto the road between them. Out & back: the farthest point is half your life, the return is the rest. One way: the road runs straight to the horizon. The pulsing marker is you today — teal is traveled, amber is ahead, and the mist marks the uncertainty.

2 · The horizon estimate

A short survey builds a statistical horizon — always a range, never a date. Skipped questions widen the band. You can update your answers anytime from Profile, and "How we estimate" shows every factor.

3 · Stops

Add the things you want to do before the road ends. Every stop gets a target age and a pin on the map. Mark it done, push it back, or remove it — no guilt. Suggestions are tuned to your age, country and interests.

4 · Life timeline

Add past milestones — graduation, a move, a loss. They become the backstory of your road, group into life chapters, and reveal the rhythm of your good and hard seasons.

5 · Daily check-in

A few honest taps a day: sleep, movement, smoke-free, mood, or simply "I showed up." Check-ins grow your streak, one monthly rest pass protects it, and a shared daily quest gives every traveler the same small mission.

6 · Transitions — extend the road

Quit smoking? Started exercising? A new transition applies 25% of its effect immediately; a 28-day confirmed check-in streak unlocks the rest. Negative changes count in full right away — honesty first.

7 · Coach & weekly letter

The Coach knows your route, stops and levers — ask it anything. Once a week it writes you a short letter about your week on the road. It will never give medical advice.

8 · Share cards

Five card templates: your route, a completed stop, a grown route, the yearly recap, and an invite card for friends. Share straight to WhatsApp, Telegram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Reddit, or email — or download/use native share for Instagram stories.

9 · Travelers — community stats

Optional and anonymous: total travelers, popular routes and stops, and the community's "+years extended" counter. One toggle in Settings turns the whole layer off.

10 · Settings & safety

Sensitivity mode hides the numbers, grief mode pauses everything, and the GPS surprise celebrates the day you literally stand near one of your stops. By default your data lives on this device; Settings also offers optional database backup. Export JSON, restore it, or delete the local copy anytime.

11 · Feedback

Use the Feedback tab to send bugs, confusing screens, mobile design issues, translation fixes, or feature ideas — or the Contact page, where you also choose which app context travels with your message.

12 · Public pages & legal

The Road screen and every public page link to Guide, About, FAQ, Contact, Privacy, and Terms. Read Privacy for where data lives, and Terms for the important rule: MileMori is a statistical motivation tool, not medical advice or a prediction.

A statistical motivation tool — not medical advice or an exact prediction. For ages 18 and over.
